MÍNIMO COMÚN MÚLTIPLO

El mcm es el número más  pequeño, distinto de cero, que es   múltiplo de dos o más números. Se puede obtener de varias formas:

• Obteniendo los múltiplos de  cada número y elegimos el menor de los dos.
• Con números grandes lo calcularemos con la descomposición  en factores primos.

LOS MÚLTIPLOS

Saber los múltiplos de un número sirve para agrupar, reconocer patrones, simplificar fracciones mediante el cálculo del mínimo común múltiplo (MCM), y para resolver diversos problemas matemáticos y de la vida cotidiana que implican repetición o divisiones exactas, así como en campos como la informática.

Ejemplo de aplicación

Imagina que necesitas repartir 12 galletas entre varias personas, formando grupos de la misma cantidad. Saber los múltiplos de 12 (0, 12, 24, etc.) te ayuda a saber que se pueden hacer grupos de 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 o 12 galletas de forma equitativa, porque todos esos números son divisores de 12

A volcano is a mountain that opens downward to a pool of molten rock below the surface of the earth. 

When pressure builds up, eruptions occur. 

Gases and rock shoot up through the opening and spill over or fill the air with lava fragments.

¿Cómo saben los científicos qué hay dentro de la Tierra?

Los científicos no pueden cavar hasta el centro de la Tierra (solo hemos bajado 12 km, y el planeta tiene más de 6.000 km de radio). Pero han usado experimentos y pistas. Mira cómo:

1. Mini-Tierras en laboratorio 🧪

   • Usan máquinas que aprietan y calientan rocas con muchísima fuerza, como si estuvieran dentro del planeta.

   • Así ven cómo cambian los minerales: si se derriten, si se hacen más densos, o qué forma tienen.

2. Comparación con terremotos 🌍

   • Lo que aprenden en el laboratorio lo comparan con las ondas de los terremotos.

   • Si las ondas viajan igual en el experimento y en la Tierra, significa que han adivinado bien qué material hay allí abajo.

3. Meteoritos que caen del espacio ☄️

   • Los meteoritos son como “hermanos” de la Tierra, hechos del mismo material cuando se formó el sistema solar.

   • Estudiando su composición (mucho hierro, níquel y roca), los científicos deducen que la Tierra también tiene esos elementos dentro.

4. El imán gigante de la Tierra 🧲

   • Nuestro planeta tiene un campo magnético, como un imán enorme.

   • Eso solo es posible si en el interior hay metal líquido moviéndose (hierro y níquel fundidos en el núcleo externo).
