Giving advice and talking about necessity
We can use should / ought to / have to / must + the base form of a verb to give advice and talk about necessity.
Should and ought to are less strong and less formal than have to and must.

Should and ought to
We use should / should not (shouldn’t) and ought to / ought not to (oughtn’t to) to say whether something is a good idea.
Should and ought to are similar in meaning, but should is less formal and more common, especially in negative forms and questions.
You should / ought to take a walk after each meal.
They should not (shouldn’t) / ought not to (oughtn’t to) park their car there

SO AND SUCH
Uilizamos “so” (tan, así, entonces) y “such” (semejante, tal, tan, tanto) para añadir énfasis, mostrar sentimientos extremos o para dar la opinión.
Es muy sencillo diferenciar «so» de «such»: solo tenemos que prestar atención a las palabras que vienen detrás:

Recomendaciones para el verano.

Estimadas familias,
Las recomendaciones para estas vacaciones es que los niños descansen y disfruten, hagan deporte y jueguen todo lo posible, que canten en (inglés), que bailen… para volver con energía y ánimo en septiembre.
Nuestras recomendaciones son:
“Speak English” con la familia, hermanos…. en las vacaciones.
“WATCH TV” Ver la tele en inglés (V.O) todo lo que puedas. Y escucha música también. Al menos 1 hora semanal.
Visita el blog y repasa los juegos, lee las lecturas, y escucha los videos….http://elblogdemisssesther.blogspot.com.es/
También quiero recomendarte que completes un libro de verano. te aconsejo que si lo compras, tenga CD. El nivel adecuado sería 5º /6º.

Actividades:
Tienes que hacer un breve resumen de cada leyenda acompañada de una ilustración de la misma, del momento que quieras.
Tu resumen tiene que estar bien escrito, en bolígrafo azul y buena letra. No debe ocupar más de media hoja y la otra media tu dibujo.
Finalmente y si te han servido cómo inspiración te reto a que escribas una leyenda sobre el país o la ciudad que quieras. Este trabajo es libre, puedes escribir las hojas que quieras y también ilustrarlo.
Debes presentar todo en Septiembre, con una portada tu nombre y título: TRABAJO DE LECTURA VERANO 2023 5º B.

EL PULMÓN DE MADRID
Nos vamos al parque más famoso de Madrid, el Retiro. El más famoso, y el más grande en el centro de la ciudad, con una superficie arbolada de 125 hectáreas y un perímetro de 4,5 km.
Vamos a hacer e a contarte unas cuantas curiosidades del Retiro, nuestro lugar de recreo favorito en Madrid… como de Felipe IV.
El barco es un Catamarán de 12 metros de eslora, con capacidad para 60 pasajeros, insumergible al estar rellenos sus dos cascos de espuma expandida.
Alcanza una velocidad máxima de 6 nudos gracias a sus generadores solares con paneles de última generación que les proporcionan una potencia de 4.650 Wp, cuarenta y ocho baterías de 1000 Ah de capacidad y dos motores eléctricos con 4.600 w de potencio codo uno.
Su autonomía es indefinida con sol y hasta 150 horas sin sol. La energía utilizada es totalmente gratuita e inagotable, al no utilizar ninguna fuente de apoyo exterior.
Comparándolo con un barco similar con motores de gasóleo, a lo largo de su vida útil de 25 años, dejará de emitir Aproximadamente 7.214 Tm de CO2 a la atmósfera y dejará de consumir más de 1.000.000 de litros de gasóleo.
